Terms and Conditions

Bookings

We respectfully remind you that a verbal or written reservation constitutes a legal document.

Please note that a valid Credit or Debit Card is required at the time of booking in order to secure the room(s).

Online Bookings

All online bookings are subject to confirmation via email from Parade School Guest House.

Payment

We aspire for our guests to have minimal disruption, if any at all, whilst enjoying their breakfast. We therefore request kindly that payment is made on arrival, as a result guests can find the check out process easier and quicker on the day of their departure.

Payment can be by any of the following methods:

  • Cash (Sterling)/Credit Card/Debit Card

Payment Cards Accepted:

  • Visa/MasterCard/Maestro/Solo

Please note there is a surcharge of £2.00 when payment is made by either Credit or Debit Card.

Arrival/Departure Times

On the day of arrival check in is from 4.00pm onwards.

For the convenience of incoming guests, we require rooms to be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Arrivals/Departures outside of the above stated times may be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Cancellation Policy

We require at least 7 clear days notice in advance of your arrival date. In the event that a cancellation is less than this we would make every effort to re-let the accommodation. However, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the booking if the room is not subsequently re-let, whether contracted for verbally or in writing.

Please note that once a reservation has been made any changes, such as reduction of days, changes of dates or change of room type is deemed a cancellation of the original booking. Therefore the application of it to the altered booking is entirely at our discretion. Changes such as additional days are not deemed cancellations, and will be accommodated where possible.

In the event of non-arrivals, payment will be taken from the card used to secure the room(s) at the agreed rate of the first night’s stay.

No refunds will be given for curtailment of stay.

If you are concerned about cancellation you are advised to take out travel insurance.

Insurance

It is recommended that guests have, and are responsible for insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.

Non-Smoking Policy

In the interest of the comfort and safety of our guests, Parade School Guest House is a non-smoking establishment and we operate a strict Non-Smoking Policy throughout. In the event on non-compliance, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your entire stay plus an additional charge for specialist cleaning of the room will be imposed. Payment will be taken from the card used to secure the room(s).

We greatly appreciate your co-operation with our Non Smoking Policy.

Damage

In the event of damage to the Guest House property, we reserve the right to charge to replace, repair or professionally clean the item(s) concerned

Should any damage come to our attention after the guest has departed, payment will either be taken from the card used to secure the room(s), or we will send an invoice for the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage, directly to the guest at the given address. We will however make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.

There will be a charge of £15.00 for lost keys.
